The Beach

Mundesley has a prestigious Blue Flag award for its stunning sandy beach. Meadow House's garden gate leads directly onto the second beach walkway on the East side of the village.

The main Victorian promenade is lined with colourful beach huts, a cafe with ice cream shop. In summer the main beach is patrolled full time by lifeguards and there is a volunteer lifeboat shed at the West end of the village as well as a quaint Coast Guard lookout.

Tractors still pull traditonal and modern crab boats up onto the shingle bank and the beach can be accessed both on foot and by car.

Further along from the village is the Trimingham slipway, here you can launch small sailing yachts and fishing boats and it is a poular area for jet skis and para gliding.

The house enjoys panoramic sea views from the 1st and 2nd floors. We are ideally situated just 5 minutes walk from the pretty village centre. The village has everything you need, a good butcher, wet fish stand, general store, vegetable shop, chemist, excellent chip shop, art gallery and numerous pubs - all within walking distance.
